Vince Capone takes on the CEO role as Spectral AI prepares for the commercialization of its proprietary, non-invasive, AI-driven burn wound assessment device the DeepView System. The company was named to TIME's 2025 list of the World's Top HealthTech Companies last September.

Spectral AI, which focuses on medical diagnostics for faster and more accurate treatment decisions in wound care, said the spinoff aligns with its strategy to maximize shareholder value by fostering growth in its Spectral IP subsidiary. The spinoff will be renamed SIM IP and will be headquartered in Miami.
