Dallas Unicorn o9 Solutions Announces $296M in New Funding and a $2.7B Valuation

o9 Solutions, an enterprise AI software platform provider, today announced $296 million in equity investments from a group including General Atlantic and its climate investing venture BeyondNetZero; Generation Investment Management; and existing o9 investor KKR.
The company—which had a 400% increase in annual recurring revenue in Q4 2021—is now valued at $2.7 billion. "We have an unprecedented opportunity in front of us," says Co-Founder and CEO Chakri Gottemukkala.

Siemens Digital Industries Software headquarters is hiring like gangbusters. Siemens CFO Timo Nentwich, who moved to Dallas from Berlin last October, says the company has moved far beyond enabling the designs of airplanes and cars, into analyzing entire manufacturing processes.
