Part seed accelerator competition, part tech tradeshow, and part startup conference with a rock 'n' roll vibe, CodeLaunch DFW takes place November 15 at Gilley's South Side Ballroom in Dallas. Plus, for the first time, semifinalists will be eligible for up to $150K in investments from Cyrannus, a network of experts aiming to help founders connect with the VC market.
The last day of Dallas Startup Week offered a competitive edge—the Capital One Accelerator Pitch Competition. Eight startups from across the U.S. who'd completed the accelerator program took part. The big winner: Autix, which won the CodeLaunch DFW pitch competition just last November.
Taking second place was California-based nonprofit-branded credit card startup Higher Rewards, while the Crowd Favorite prize went to Atlanta's Simple Money Academy.
McKinney-Based Autix Automotive was the big winner at Wednesday's CodeLaunch DFW event held at Comerica Center in Frisco. The startup is an online app platform for automotive enthusiasts, enabling them to create, share, and explore custom vehicle profiles. One of six startups that competed at the event, Autix is now looking to raise $1.5 million for marketing, product development, and execution of its social media strategy.
CodeLaunch—known for splashy events that are part tech trade show, part startup conference—will host the finals of its 10th seed accelerator competition on November 17 at Frisco's Comerica Center.
Three of the five finalists are from DFW. Meet them here.
