A five-year NSF award to the Center for Wind Energy Science, Technology, and Research supports new work using AI to reduce turbine defects, improve reliability, and strengthen the U.S. energy grid.
The Hunt Energy Enterprises spinout—which closed a $7.5 million Pre-Series A funding round in February—said the new plant will commercialize its technology for "a cleaner and more economical battery future" for EV's and energy storage.
