The dual-degree program merges the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU’s novel approach to medical education with the interdisciplinary research expertise of UTA’s Department of Bioengineering. The goal: giving students the knowledge and skills "to lead advancements in health care innovation."

Home to TCU's Anne Burnett Marion School of Medicine, the new medical school building features anatomy and experimental labs supporting the use of the latest AR and VR technologies. A medical simulation suite will enable students to interact with lifelike human manikins for the practice of complex team-based care.
