Tyler Technologies Acquires CODY Systems

The deal expands Tyler’s public safety portfolio by adding CODY Systems’ records management and cross-agency data-sharing platforms. It is the latest in a series of acquisitions by the Plano-based company.

Tyler said the acquisition strengthens its comprehensive public safety suite at a critical time, noting that by Jan. 1, all fire and EMS departments nationwide must move from the National Fire Incident Reporting System to the National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS).
