NexPoint's gift, along with the TPW Recreation Grant, brings a combined investment totaling nearly $2.6 million, ensuring that the project continues its momentum to deliver on a decades-long promise to bring a community green space to the residents of South Dallas surrounding Fair Park.

The $8.6 million grant has been awarded to the city of Dallas on behalf of Fair Park First and the Community Park and will be distributed through the National Park Service’s Land and Water Conservation Fund’s Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program.
