Dallas’ Monarch Waste Technologies Opens High‑Tech Pyrolysis Medical Waste Facility

Medical waste has a daunting trifecta of biological, chemical, and safety hazards—which is why 99% of medical waste incinerators in the U.S. have closed since 1995. This week, MWT unveiled its new facility in Alabama that uses a process called pyrolysis—calling it "the most technologically advanced pyrolysis system for medical waste destruction ever commissioned in the United States."
