Spurred By Growth, Mouser Electronics Will Host a Drive-Thru Job Fair in Mansfield Saturday

Mouser—a Berkshire Hathaway company—is Mansfield's largest private employer with 2,000 employees. The global distributor says it's never had an employee layoff since its founding in 1964. Now it's ramping up hiring as a "result of the company’s strong and continuous growth."

Mouser Electronics, Mansfield’s largest private employer with 2,000 employees, says it’s never had an employee layoff since its founding in 1964. Now—in the midst of a tight labor market nationwide— the global distributor is going big in its efforts to ramp up hiring as a “result of the company’s strong and continuous growth.”

The Berkshire Hathaway company, which recently announced plans to add more full-time employees at its headquarters and distribution center in Mansfield, will host an onsite drive-thru job fair this Saturday, September 18.

Mouser serves the electronic design engineer and buyer community, distributing high-tech products from more than 1,000 manufacturers.

Mouser Electronics is hiring

The company expects to hire full-time employees for positions including IT positions, customer service representatives, warehouse associates, and more. Mouser says pay starts as high as $17 per hour, according to a news release.

Mouser, which received an Employer of the Year Award from the Mansfield Chamber of Commerce, touts its excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, along with paid holidays and paid vacation, and a 401(k) company match. Added perks include an onsite fitness center and health clinic, which offers expedited medical attention, pharmacy services, and lower costs for employees who might otherwise need to schedule a doctor’s visit off-site, per the company.

“As a global leader in the distribution of electronic components, Mouser is growing and looking for more talented individuals to join our dynamic team,” said Tracey Mellenthin, vice president of human resources at Mouser.

Mouser features more than 5 million products and ships to over 630,000 customers around the world from its 78-acre campus with recently expanded 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art distribution facilities.
