Tree Hut—a family-owned brand of skin and body care products produced in the Dallas suburb of Coppell—has partnered with the iconic Peanuts brand, signing up Snoopy and his bird-brained pal Woodstock to grace a limited edition line of Tree Hut x Peanuts body care products.
The launch, available exclusively at Ulta Beauty stores and Ulta.com, is Tree Hut’s first major product collaboration. The new line features two scents—Vanilla and Woodstock Glow— and “highlights fan-favorite Peanuts characters while staying true to Tree Hut’s mission of delivering indulgent yet accessible self-care that resonates with fans old and new,” the company said.
Tree Hut CMO Luis Garcia called the Peanuts “the perfect partner to bring this moment to life.”
“Snoopy and Woodstock are cherished across generations and pairing them with our most-loved body care essentials creates a collection that feels classic with a modern twist,” Garcia added in a statement. “This launch is about celebrating our community with something unforgettable while starting an exciting new era for the brand.”
Parent co. originally founded in Dallas in 1922
Tree Hut has a 23-year back story, but its parent company goes back a lot longer—123 years, to be exact. Superior Products Company was founded in Dallas in 1922, later launching Sue Pree and Lisa Monay-branded skin care and beauty products, which were sold at Wal-Mart and other retailers in the 1960s. In 1994, Superior was acquired by the Song family, which changed the company’s name to Naterra International. In 2002, Naterra launched Tree Hut. In 2008, Naterra acquired the Baby Magic baby care products brand from New Jersey-based Ascendia Brands.
In 2015, Jon Song became CEO of Coppell-based Naterra, which he still leads today. Naterra EVP Peter Song is also the president and CEO of Naterra’s Coppell-based sister company, Beauty Manufacturing Solutions Corp.
Both companies are longtime Wal-Mart partners.

Now, back to the present—and big recent news for Tree Hut’s parent Naterra. On September 26, Jon and Peter Song cut the ribbon on a new $120 million, 400,000-SF Naterra International manufacturing and distribution facility in Fort Worth. Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne and Jerrit Davis, VP of merchandising at Walmart, were on hand to celebrate another milestone for U.S. manufacturing in North Texas.
“Our Naterra team is grateful for the opportunity to expand our operations here in Fort Worth, and excited to continue our partnership with Walmart in stores across the country,” Jon Song said in a statement at the time. “We look forward to our continued growth and to being a part of this outstanding community.”
More on the Peanuts collaboration
Tree Hut said it worked hand-in-hand with the Peanuts team to create the new limited-edition line, which features “playful, character-inspired packaging.” Each product is formulated with Tree Hut’s signature blend of “skin-loving” ingredients, including Shea Butter, natural oils, and hydrating actives. The line includes a vanilla scent that comes in Snoopy-inspired Shea Sugar Scrub, Moisturizing Shave Oil, Foaming Gel Wash, and Whipped Body Butter. The line also features a tropical and fruity-scented Woodstock Glow Shea Sugar Scrub.
“For 75 years, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the gang have connected with fans across the world due to their joy, humor and humanity,” Liz Brinkley, VP of global fashion and home and collaborations for Peanuts, said in a statement. “Tree Hut’s beloved body care line creates a fresh way to celebrate this timeless charm while introducing our characters to new audiences.”
