The $5.8 million raised in a Series B investment round led by LiveOak Venture Partners is expected to support Razberi Technologies’ growth initiatives.
“This financing will give us the opportunity to continue to grow the business rapidly and roll-out fantastic new products in the coming year,” Doug Dickerson, Razberi Technologies’ CEO, said in a statement.
Austin-based LiveOak will invest along with Chartline Capital Partners and other investors, according to a statement. The company plans to bring on additional investors over the coming months.
Razberi produces video surveillance and IoT solutions in a plug-and-play format. It offers intelligent server appliances for video surveillance and IoT, automated cybersecurity, and health monitoring software. Its products are made to work with a variety of video management software and network cameras.
Razberi’s video surveillance tech
Razberi’s products are installed alongside third-party IP cameras and compatible Video Management Software (VMS) products in a plug-and-play format meant to make it easier for anyone to install a video surveillance solution.
The company’s CameraDefense software automates cybersecurity protections with camera hardening and cyber threat monitoring, while its health monitoring software alerts security professionals to issues around the clock.
“Razberi has developed a leadership position in the large and fast-growing IoT / video surveillance and cybersecurity market,” Krishna Srinivasan, founding partner at LiveOak and a Razberi board member, said in a statement.
Razberi has won over 10 awards for cybersecurity and video surveillance, according to a statement, including three awards in 2019 for Best New Product from Security Today, Security Industry Association (SIA), and Security Sales & Integration (SSI).
