Plano-based CorroHealth, a leading healthcare technology and RCM company, has acquired the Xtend healthcare revenue cycle management business from Navient.
The company said the acquisition further positions it as a leader in RCM consultancy and technology solutions.
CorroHealth was formed in 2020 through the merger of four companies—Visionary RCM, T-System, RevCycle+, and TrustHCS—creating a comprehensive provider of healthcare analytics, RCM, and technology services for hospitals and health systems worldwide.
“This is a significant step forward for CorroHealth and for our clients. Adding the talented and knowledgeable Xtend staff to the clinically led CorroHealth team adds a powerful new layer of financial security for our clients,” CorroHealth CEO Pat Leonard said in a statement. “These new services will take additional burden off our clients and allow them to focus on providing high quality healthcare.”
The deal provides significant scale to CorroHealth’s existing RCM offerings as well as new patient engagement capabilities, the company said. Specifically, this new service will enable multichannel patient communications, an essential element that was not previously in the CorroHealth suite of services.
CorroHealth said the move positions it as one of the broadest and most complete clinical and financial end-to-end solutions in the market.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

More than 925 Xtend employees have joined the CorroHealth team, as part of the transaction.
