Sept. 15 was PARK(ing) Day, an annual worldwide event where artists, designers, and citizens transform metered parking spots into temporary public parks. In downtown Dallas, a variety of organizations and businesses turned out to line Main Street with fun spaces where people could chat, play, or just relax.

From Big Thought to SVP Dallas to The Trust for Public Land, the 15 ‘exceptional nonprofits' were picked after an application process last summer. They’ll join Water Cooler's five founding tenants.
