The Dallas Festival of Ideas returned Saturday at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center with discussions on equity and growth in the city. The event featured a series of panel discussions focused on five tracks or “city perspectives” — the physical city, the healthy city, the cultural city, the educated city, and the entrepreneurial city. In addition, there were a variety of performances and art installations. This year’s event also was coupled with the Dallas Book Festival at the nearby J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.
