Holographic digitizer illuminator with mutually variant wavelengths
Patent No. 12539020

Inventor(s): Juuso Jalmari Heikkinen (Vancouver, , CA), MyeongSoo Kim (Vancouver, , CA)
Assignee(s): D4D Technologies, LLC (Richardson, TX)
Law Firm: Scheef Stone, LLP (Local)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18455027 on 08/24/2023 (894 days app to issue)

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating multiple mutually variant wavelengths of coherent radiation for three-dimensional imaging of a physical object, such as a tooth, are disclosed. A single radiation source, such as a laser diode, emits coherent electromagnetic radiation. A highly dispersive optical element, such as an echelle diffraction grating, separates radiation having specific wavelengths from the emitted spectrum into distinct beams. Optical components, such as optical masks, mirrors, and lenses, select and orient desired beams to illuminate the object. Small changes in drive current or heatsink temperature of the radiation source similarly affect all wavelengths of the emitted spectrum, so the relative wavelength differences of the desired beams of radiation remain constant. This wavelength stability is useful for synthetic wavelength generation for digital holography and minimizes errors in object shape profile measurements at various scales. Use of a single radiation source also reduces system cost and complexity.

Inventor(s): Alan McCord (Forney, TX)
Assignee(s): ATOMBEAM TECHNOLOGIES INC. (Moraga, CA)
Law Firm: Galvin Patent Law LLC (1 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 19094850 on 03/29/2025 (311 days app to issue)

Abstract: This invention presents an optimized approach for training and operating Large Language Models (LLMs) using codewords. By converting traditional token-based LLMs to codeword-based systems, the method achieves significant efficiency gains. The process involves tokenizing training data and assigning codewords to tokens. LLMs are then trained and operated using these compact codewords instead of conventional tokens. During operation, prompts are converted to codewords, processed by the LLM, and the outputs are converted back to text. This approach reduces the overall cost of training and operating LLMs by approximately, offering a more efficient solution for large-scale language processing tasks.

Application No., Date, Speed: 18928936 on 10/28/2024 (463 days app to issue)

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for providing user offers based on efficient iterative recommendation structures. In various aspects, a server invokes a bi-directional look-up interface via a lookup request, where the bi-directional look-up interface is exposed via an electronic recommendation structure. The lookup request causes the bi-directional look-up interface to return a bi-directional recommendation value. The bi-directional recommendation value indicates a likelihood of a first user selecting a first offer or a second offer. The bi-directional recommendation value is transmitted via a computer network to a client device associated with the first user upon a determination that the likelihood meets or exceeds a recommendation threshold. The client device is operative to display at least one of the first offer or the second offer.

Determination of PRACH occasions and PUSCH occasions for 2-step random access
Patent No. 12543213

Inventor(s): Robert Mark Harrison (Grapevine, TX)
Assignee(s): TELEFONAKTIEBOLAGET LM ERICSSON (PUBL) (Stockholm, , SE)
Law Firm: COATS BENNETT, PLLC (1 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 17765497 on 10/02/2020 (1950 days app to issue)

Abstract: Operation in unlicensed spectrum requires Clear Channel Assessment (CCA), where a transmitter must monitor the channel before transmitting, to ensure it is free. An exception is a brief gap that allows for Rx/Tx turn-around, so that an ACK can be transmitted following reception, without performing a new CCA. NR introduces a 2-step Random Access (RA) procedure, where MsgA includes both a PRACH and a PUSCH transmission. To minimize CCA delays in unlicensed spectrum, only those RACH opportunities (ROs) and PUSCH opportunities (POs) that result in a very small delay between the PRACH and PUSCH transmissions of MsgA should be employed. RO configurations are defined for LTE 4-step RA. Embodiments provides methods for selecting which of these be may be shared for 2-step RA, for selecting which should be used in case of collisions, for selecting ROs and POs when the configurations are not shared, and for communicating RO configurations to UEs.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for facilitating the use of enhanced multi-link single radio (EMLSR) operation for peer-to-peer (P2P) communications between peer multi-link devices (MLDs). A first non-access point (AP) MLD comprises first stations (STAs), each comprising a transceiver configured to form a P2P link with a corresponding second STA of a second non-AP MLD, and a processor. The processor is configured to generate a capability indication message that includes a capability indication that indicates that the first non-AP MLD is capable of EMLSR mode operation for P2P communication over the P2P links. At least one of the transceivers is further configured to transmit the capability indication message to the second non-AP MLD.
