Lewisville-based national property services company MCS has acquired Fort Worth-based property preservation company MSI, uniting two of the industry’s market leaders and expanding the MCS national platform.
Founded in 1986, MSI’s suite of services and employees, as well as their clients and vendor network, will be integrated within MCS, the company said.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition boosts the MCS team capabilities and client roster and further enhances our reputation as the nation’s leading property preservation company,” Chad Mosley, president of MCS Mortgage Services, said in a statement. “We’re always seeking to diversify and expand our platform and the MSI expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong reputation aligned perfectly with MCS. MSI has a long track record of success, and we’re excited to combine our collective strength as we continue to create the best platform built for long-term growth.”
MCS said the combination will reinforce its national footprint and further position the company as an industry leader prepared to handle all future market conditions. MCS delivers its suite of property preservation and related services to clients nationwide via what it calls “an industry-leading service delivery model and an industry-leading technology platform.”
“This is an exciting announcement for MSI,” MSI CEO Steve Stallard said in a statement. “MCS is the right fit and the right partner, and this will allow our clients to benefit from an expanded vendor network and technology that supports many of the largest banks and servicers in the country. We’re pleased to join forces with an organization that shares our focus on superior servicing and execution.”
MSI has additional operational sites in Des Moines, Iowa, and Jacksonville, Florida, and has provided a comprehensive suite of property inspection, property preservation, property repair management, violation abatement, and REO asset management services to institutional clients nationwide for more than 30 years.
All the company’s services are offered nationwide, as well as in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guam.
