North Texas’ Ancor Capital Partners Invests in Ohio-Based VST

VST operates at the forefront of the retail fuel dispensing industry, with "innovative technologies" that simultaneously address evolving regulatory demands, reduce environmental impact, and save operators money, Ancor said.

Southlake-based private investment firm Ancor Capital Partners announced it has invested in Springboro, Ohio-based Vapor Systems Technologies (VST), a designer and manufacturer of vapor recovery and fuel dispensing solutions for gasoline dispensing facilities.

This marks Ancor’s fourth investment in the environmental sector, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and regulatory compliance, the firm said. Company leaders expressed enthusiasm about investing alongside Glenn Walker, majority owner and CEO of VST.

The amount of Ancor’s investment was not disclosed.

“Glenn did a fabulous job of building a solid foundation for the company and Ancor feels confident in accelerating their growth plan,” Timothy J. McKibben, Ancor Capital founding partner, said in a statement. “Investing with professionals like Glenn and his team made this opportunity very attractive to our shareholders.”

Founded in 1990, VST is known for its California Air Resources Board-certified suite of balance hanging hardware and proprietary GREEN MACHINE, an environmental control system for underground storage tanks designed to manage pressure levels, recapture fugitive emissions, and harvest actionable data on GDF operations, all via a remote monitoring service.

Ancor said that VST operates at the forefront of the retail fuel dispensing industry, thanks to innovative technologies that simultaneously address evolving regulatory demands, reduce environmental impact, and save operators money.

Walker will continue as CEO of VST.

“Ancor recognized the strength of our team, and we’re excited to partner with them to build on our success. VST has experienced tremendous growth, and this partnership will help us expand our reach and impact in new markets,” Walker said.
