Industry veteran Dave Moore has joined Irving-based Neovia Logistics, a global supplier of logistics services, as chief operations officer.
“We’re thrilled to have someone with Dave’s proven operational expertise as COO,” Neovia Chairman of the Board Carlos Rodriguez said in a statement. “Dave’s deep industry experience across multiple continents and passion for delighting customers is a great complement to our relentless focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.”
Moore comes to Neovia from Americold, where he was chief operations officer. Prior to that, he was COO for AGRO Merchants Group and held senior leadership roles at DHL Supply Chain, Ryder Logistics, and Daimler Chrysler.
“I’m excited about this next step in my career and to be able to immediately contribute to a company with such an impressive legacy and an exciting path forward,” Moore said in a statement.
In November, Neovia announced the successful completion of its comprehensive recapitalization and significant deleveraging of its balance sheet.
“The team is making sound progress with the implementation of our strategic plan and associated initiatives finalized after completing the recapitalization,” Rodriguez said. “The addition of Dave to our executive leadership team will further bolster those efforts.”
A global leader in third-party logistics, Neovia operates more than 100 facilities in over 20 countries. Neovia said that for more than 30 years, it has combined an OEM mindset with real-world innovation to partner with, and solve complex logistics challenges for, leading companies in the automotive, industrial, aerospace, and technology sectors.
