Miami-based developer Related Group plans to break ground this spring on Manor Oak Farms, a $120 million apartment community with striking views. How striking? It’s being built right across the Trinity River from downtown Dallas on a site next to the former Oak Farms Dairy property, Steve Brown reports in the Dallas Morning News.
Currently vacant, the property is on East Jefferson near I-35E, and used to be the home of the Burnett Field baseball park, the DMN says—with construction slated to begin in May for a planned 2025 opening.
Brown notes that the site of the new multifamily community was one of the Dallas-area locations that Amazon scoped out when it was scouring the U.S. for its famous “HQ2” search.
