Dallas-based architecture and planning firm Merriman Anderson Architects announced that Amanda Hendrick is its new director of strategy and development.
Hendrick joins the firm’s leadership team as an associate principal and brings 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry to her new role.
“Building on 40 years of impact, we are thrilled to welcome Amanda to the MAA family and are confident she will help the firm innovate thoughtfully and strategically as we enter a new era in commercial real estate,” MAA President Milton Anderson said in a statement. “Amanda joins us with a keen understanding of our market and the AE industry, as well as a sincere passion for excellence, development, and the success of our clients and dedicated team.”
The firm said that Hendrick is a highly-connected, relationship-focused cultivator, skilled in identifying and spearheading long-term strategic initiatives to drive healthy market growth. Her values-centered leadership helps bridge the right creative talent, people, and resources to support clients in achieving their vision.
Previously, Hendrick was a vice president and business development director at Corgan, where she led the firm’s strategic partnerships both nationally and locally, building brand recognition for the commercial market sector through concentrated industry and community engagement.
The firm said that Hendrick will focus on keeping MAA at the forefront of the commercial real estate industry, effectively evaluating market trends, running competitive analyses, and solidifying business opportunities.
