Dallas-based commercial real estate services and investment firm CBRE Group has named Anuj Kadyan its chief technology & transformation officer, effective May 15. Kadyan is currently a senior partner and co-leader of the Technology Services practice at McKinsey & Company.
In addition to advising some of the world’s leading AI, cloud, and technology companies on key strategies, M&A, and commercial operations, Kadyan has led large-scale technology and AI transformations for major companies in other industries, CBRE said. Over the past 17 years, he has worked for McKinsey in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Bob Sulentic, CBRE’s chair and CEO, said his company “will benefit significantly from Anuj’s extensive experience across technology, transformation, and strategy.”
“This combination will be especially powerful in helping us to further differentiate our products and to operate our business more efficiently,” he added in a statement.
Since joining McKinsey in 2009, Kadyan has worked in the New Jersey, Atlanta, London, and Delhi offices, serving clients on several continents. Previously, he led the Telecom, Media & Tech Practice in India and served as the managing partner for the Gurugram office.
“This is an exciting time to be joining CBRE,” Kadyan said. “Data, insight, and scale — combined with the right strategy—are attributes that will define success in the future. CBRE is the sector leader across all these attributes, and I look forward to working with the team to help the company fully capitalize on them to drive growth and great client outcomes.”
