‘Industry Pacesetter’: O’Neil Digital Solutions Appoints Technology Veteran as New CEO

With a six-decade company legacy, O'Neil Digital will deliver over 5 billion digital document pages and orchestrate 400 million communications events for clients this year.

O’Neil Digital Solutions, a leader in customer communications management solutions, has announced the appointment of David J. Blanton as its new CEO. Blanton joins O’Neil from Cognizant where he served as senior vice president of cloud, infrastructure and security.

Blanton brings “an impressive track record” from his previous technology leadership roles at companies like Cognizant, Atos, and Unisys, the company said.

Chairman W. Scott O’Neil said Blanton’s decades of expertise will help drive O’Neil’s strategic growth in the right direction.

The appointment comes as Plano, Texas-based O’Neil continues expanding its position as a thought leader in customer experience and digital transformation, it said. O’Neil pointed to the company’s technology innovations and data analytics capabilities that enhance customer communications across channels.

Blanton will spearhead that strategic growth and direction: The new CEO expressed enthusiasm about building on O’Neil’s 60-year legacy as an “industry pacesetter” of data-driven customer communications management.

Privately held O’Neil commemorates its 50th anniversary this year as a part of the O’Neil family of companies founded by William J. O’Neil in 1963. This year, O’Neil will deliver over 5 billion digital document pages annually and orchestrate 400 million communications events for clients, the company said.
