In-Home Companion & Services Company Villi Launches in Texas

Villi’s mission is to help clients and their families "with the little things," so they can focus on enjoying life’s bigger moments. A division of Maryland-based Maxim Healthcare Group, the new company currently serves Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio—and plans to expand to other cities and states "in the near future."

A new company has launched in Texas providing on-demand, “hands-off” assistance to enable adults to have the freedom “to live confidently in their own homes.”

Called Villi, the company currently serves Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. It said it has plans to expand to additional cities and states in the near future.

“Villi provides a peace of mind for adults of all ages who occasionally need help managing life at home,” Villi National Director Mary Meeker said in a statement. “Our trusted companions are passionate about what they do and help ease the responsibilities that so many of us have at home. Villi was founded on the premise that we can all benefit from a little bit of help, and we provide that with a whole lot of heart and compassion.”

Villi is a division of the 35-year-old Maxim Healthcare Group, which is headquartered in Columbia, Maryland. Until its recent rebranding, Villi was known as Maxim at Home.

From light housekeeping to meal prep and pet care

The company offers an intuitive online platform that makes it easy to find a companion for a variety of personalized services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care, transportation, running errands, friendly social interaction, and more.

Villi said its services allow clients flexibility seven days a week and that clients can use Villi’s services for as long as needed or for as little as one hour.

Villi said it connects clients with trusted, compassionate individuals from their local community by providing real-time information and help when and where the client needs it most. No contract is required to use Villi’s services, and hourly rates are all-inclusive, the company said.

“Villi is truly unique not only because of the wide range of services we offer, but also because all of our companions are employees,” Meeker said. “All Villi Companions are company employees and not independent contractors. We take a lot of pride in personally vetting each of our Companions so we can ensure our clients are well-matched.”
