The tiltrotor assemblies are capable of rotating between a vertical lift position and a horizontal flight position. The in-line location of the tiltrotor assemblies allow the aircraft to have the vertical take-off and landing capabilities, and, in combination with the at least one wing, can be used in horizontal flight. The nacelles can be disposed on the fuselage they are coaxial in forward flight and do not add to the drag profile like wing-tip nacelles would. When wing-borne flight is desired some or all of the rotors can rotate down so the thrust vector is in a generally horizontal plane.

Photo response non-uniformity correction during semiconductor inspection

Inventor(s): John M. Thornell (Richardson, TX)
Assignee(s): Onto Innovation Inc. (Wilmington, MA)
Law Firm: Schwegman Lundberg Woessner, P.A. (11 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18217359 on 06/30/2023 (970 days app to issue)

Abstract: Image sensors assist in inspecting semiconductor substrates, including semiconductor wafers, during the semiconductor manufacturing process. However, due to the non-uniformity of cells between image sensors, which is referred to as photo response non-uniformity (PRNU), each image sensor can generate a different voltage level when illuminated with a uniform light source, which leads to a luminance inaccuracy at the pixel level that is referred to as photo response non-uniformity (or illumination flat fielding). Photo response non-uniformity (PRNU) can be corrected using a system calibration that calibrates to a substrate, including wafers, for a given illumination condition, objective, and camera. The PRNU correction is then applied to all images acquired with the given setup to produce a uniform image. Techniques are described to correct the PRNU at runtime even when there is a contour, e.g., tilt or warp, in the substrate as it relates to the normal axis of the optics.

An embedding corresponds to an utterance and includes a multidimensional vector whose dimensionality is reduced forming a compressed vector. A mass value is assigned to the compressed vector (mass-bearing data point (MD)). A set of MDs corresponds to the set of utterances. For a neighborhood of the MID, a torque value is iteratively adjusted using mass values and pairwise distances between pairs of members of the neighborhood of MD. After reaching an exit condition, a cluster is output with a better coherency correspondence with a singular actionable label as compared to another coherency correspondence of another cluster formed without the mass assignment or torque based adjustment. An operation is triggered from the actionable label in the financial data processing environment.

Application No., Date, Speed: 18133143 on 04/11/2023 (1050 days app to issue)

Abstract: Low noise amplifiers (LNAs) are disclosed. In one aspect, an LNA may have distortion cancellation that is orthogonally implemented relative to noise cancellation such that changes to the distortion cancellation do not affect the noise cancellation. In further exemplary aspects, cancellation circuitry is added in parallel to a main or primary LNA path. The cancellation circuitry may include an initial impedance matching amplifier that effectuates noise cancellation and a second amplifier that effectuates distortion cancellation. Variations in the placement and composition of the second amplifier are provided. By providing a second path that allows for independent control of noise and distortion cancellation, overall performance of the LNA is improved.

Detecting tonal interference in phase shift keyed signal modulations
Patent No. 12562826

Inventor(s): Michael Civerolo (Forney, TX)
Assignee(s): United States of America as represented by the Secretary of the Navy (Washington, DC)
Law Firm: Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (no location found)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18734387 on 06/05/2024 (629 days app to issue)

Abstract: A method for detecting tonal interference in phase shift keyed signal modulations includes feeding a phase shift keyed signal with an error signal through a lock loop from a phase lock loop. The lock loop feeds the phase shift keyed signal with an error signal through a lock counter that counts a time for the error signal to measure a voltage below a minimum threshold. An enable signal is sent via the lock counter to the frequency channelizer module when the voltage drops below the minimum threshold. The frequency channelizer module splits a spectral content of the phase shift keyed signal into frequency channels. An output of the frequency channels is sent via the frequency channelizer module to a spectral anomaly processor. An automated test is performed with the spectral anomaly processor for each frequency channel, thereby determining a frequency or phase band of the tonal interference.

Continuous universal trust architecture and method
Patent No. 12563024

Inventor(s): Nir Gaist (Dallas, TX)
Assignee(s): Noetic Global Corp. (Dallas, TX)
Law Firm: No Counsel
Application No., Date, Speed: 19211829 on 05/19/2025 (281 days app to issue)

Abstract: A method for continuous ‘’universal’’ trust (CUT) leverages a core network that manages authentication set-up and continuous trust logic for entities that use the network. During communications through the network, and regardless of source or destination, CUT logic is applied to each entity independently, and without requiring authentication to be done directly between entities that desire to communicate with one another. In a typical implementation involving a user and a service, CUT authenticates both user and service independently. To facilitate both initial and continuous authentication, a CUT engine applies authentication factors to an entity, independently of factors that may be applied by the CUT entity to any other entity that uses the network. In this solution, the CUT engine continues to authenticate and maintain trust between each entity and the core network, irrespective of the underlying communication to be carried out or occurring between the entities themselves.

Law Firm: Baker Botts L.L.P. (Local + 8 other metros)
Application No., Date, Speed: 18739919 on 06/11/2024 (623 days app to issue)

Abstract: In one implementation, congestion in a satellite communications network is managed based on current resource usage information received for a primary satellite servicing a terminal that is requesting to initiate a communications session. The current resource usage information is received within a communications session setup procedure that identifies a type of the communications session being requested by the terminal. Resources for serving the communications session are determined based on the type of the communications session being requested by the terminal. Thereafter, a determination is made as to whether sufficient resources are available at the primary satellite for servicing the communications session. In response to determining that sufficient resources are not available at the primary satellite for servicing the communications session, a congestion mitigation strategy is determined for servicing the communications session and sent to the primary satellite for implementation.
