Harper + Drummond Davis Architects Launches Out of Dallas Design District

The new firm launched by award-winning architects Sarah Harper and Richard Drummond Davis has already secured "more than a dozen projects," including commercial buildings for the Lakewood Country Club, a luxury residence on an exotic animal ranch in Godley, Texas, and custom homes across Texas, Colorado, and California.

A new firm has been launched in the Dallas Design District by award-winning architects Sarah Harper and Richard Drummond Davis.

Harper + Drummond Davis Architects is a full-service architectural firm that specializes in contemporary and modern design, authentic period, traditional architecture, and interior design. The firm said it offers clients “a unique blend of innovation and timeless design.”

Harper and Davis will serve as partners and lead designers, overseeing the firm’s business development, client management and comprehensive design services.

The new firm said it has already secured “more than a dozen projects,” including commercial buildings for the Lakewood Country Club, a luxury residence on an exotic animal ranch in Godley, Texas, and custom homes across Texas, Colorado and California.

With a combined portfolio of more than 1,600 luxury custom residences, Harper is known for her modern and contemporary residential designs, the firm said, while Davis is nationally known for his expertise in traditional and authentic period architecture, often designing custom estates for some of Dallas’ most prominent families.

“Richard brings an outstanding portfolio and a rare depth of expertise in both traditional and contemporary architecture,” Harper said in a statement. “His ability to produce precise, to-scale sketches in real time continues to earn the trust of discerning clients. I’m excited to partner with him and look forward to what we’ll achieve together.”

Davis called Harper “tremendously talented” and said her design process and vision “consistently yield striking, enduring architecture.”

“We share core values and a deep commitment to delivering timeless, bespoke solutions for each client—making this collaboration a natural fit,” Davis added.
