In a ribbon-cutting ceremony in Fort Worth last week, ear care products company EOSERA opened a new facility featuring an expanded office space and manufacturing footprint.
Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker was on hand for the opening, embracing the growth of manufacturing in the Panther City.
Co-founded in 2015 by CEO Elyse Dickerson and Chief Scientific Officer Joe Griffin, EOSERA is a biotech company focused on disrupting what it calls “a sleepy ear care category” with new technology and an innovative go-to-market strategy.
Making the Inc. 5000 List for three years running, EOSERA’s continuing expansion mandated a bigger Fort Worth presence for its 30-employee workforce. The company’s products, including Earwax MD and Ear Pain MD, are now available in over 28,000 retail stores.
The new 36,499-square-feet facility and its custom-built manufacturing and office facilities suit the company’s needs, EOSERA said in a release. The new footprint and features of the manufacturing spaces “accommodate more equipment and machinery, creating more products at a faster pace.”
More than doubling EOSERA’s footprint in Fort Worth
“Going from 17K square feet to over 36K square feet is quite a difference,” Co-Founder Griffin said in a statement. “But as we grow, we’ll need every inch of this space. The fact that we could customize our part of the building with the help of our building owner, Bruce Conti, allowed for a more conducive manufacturing area and great offices.”
EOSERA—which got its start when its co-founders won in a pitch competition—is paying it forward for the second year in a row by hosting an EmpowHERment Pitch Competition. To be held in Fort Worth on November 14 during Global Entrepreneurship Week, the competition is designed for female-led, Texas-based startups. You can read more about it in our story here.
It’s not the only way the company is giving other startups a boost. In 2022, EOSERA graduated from the TechFW accelerator and business incubator—and CEO Dickerson joined the nonprofit’s board.
