Chicago-based Dresner Partners, a middle-market investment bank, has added Lindsey M. Wendler to its team to lead expansion into the Dallas market and the south-central U.S.
The new managing director has broad experience leading transactions across a range of industries and situations, including expertise in sell-side M&A advisory, buy-side M&A projects, restructuring advisory, refinancing, valuations, and capital raising. Most recently, Wendler served in managing director roles at Skystone Securities and National Transaction Advisors.
“We’re very pleased to have her lead our entry into the Dallas market and the south-central U.S.,” said Steven M. Dresner, president of Dresner Partners, in a statement.
Investment banker brings diverse experience
Dresner says Wendler’s diverse experience as an investment banker, entrepreneur, and international business owner makes her “uniquely qualified to advise many of our prospective clients.”
Wendler has completed transactions in numerous industries, such as the hot industrial sector, including infrastructure-related products and services, construction services, building products, equipment manufacturing and leasing, engineering, and logistics. Other key engagements include fintech and e-commerce services. Previously, Wendler served in managing director roles at Skystone Securities and National Transaction Advisors.
Supporting entrepreneurs
Early in her career, Wendler founded a startup [LindseyMarie] in the luxury goods industry in Switzerland, which fueled her passion to support other entrepreneurs through M&A and corporate finance initiatives. Wendler raised growth capital to expand the company’s international distribution and later sold the business through an M&A process, according to the news release.
The investment banker also holds multiple leadership positions in Dallas.
Key roles include president of the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors DFW Chapter, chair of AM&AA National Chapter Leadership Committee, member of AM&AA National Advisory Council, investment banking chair on the board of The Association for Corporate Growth (DFW Chapter), co-founder of Women in Finance Roundtable Breakfast Series, and member of Dallas CEO Forum.
