Dallas’ CyrusOne Expands Senior Leadership Team with New Chief People Officer

The global data center developer and operator said Leslie Jones brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as chief human resources officer at Coalfire, a global cybersecurity company.

CyrusOne, a Dallas-based global data center developer and operator, has named Leslie Jones as its new EVP and chief people officer, a strategic role that CyrusOne said shows its commitment to talent development and organizational excellence at the company grows.

“Leslie’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter for CyrusOne,” CEO Eric Schwartz said in a statement. “Her impressive track record in scaling global organizations and fostering innovation-driven cultures aligns perfectly with our vision for the future. As we continue to build a mission- and values-driven company, Leslie’s expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our team remains at the cutting edge of talent and organizational development. We’re confident that her leadership will further elevate CyrusOne’s position as both an industry leader and an employer of choice.”

Joining CyrusOne is a “tremendous opportunity,” Jones said.

“The data center industry is experiencing unprecedented growth and evolution, and people are at the heart of driving that expansion,” Jones said in a statement. “My goal is to create an environment where excellence is cultivated, where each team member feels empowered to contribute their best, and where we collectively shape the future as a leading data center provider. I’m eager to leverage my experience to enhance our talent strategies, fostering a culture that attracts top-tier professionals and nurtures employee growth while aligning with CyrusOne’s long-term vision.”

CyrusOne said that Jones brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as chief human resources officer at Coalfire, a global cybersecurity company, where she led human capital strategy and fostered rapid growth while nurturing a thriving company culture. Jones’ background includes being integral in taking Benefitfocus through its IPO and beyond, leading the company as head of HR during the pre- and post-IPO periods. She has also held key HR leadership positions at notable technology companies such as Blackbaud, Sun Microsystems, now Oracle, StorageTek, and EDS.

CyrusOne said that Jones’ addition to the leadership team reinforces its commitment to cultivating a high-performing workforce capable of meeting the evolving needs of its global customer base. Her appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to expand its footprint and enhance its solutions in the rapidly growing data center industry.

CyrusOne is a data center developer and operator, delivering sophisticated digital infrastructure solutions worldwide. It operates over 55 data centers across the United States and Europe.
