Krupal Raval has joined the senior management team at Dallas-based data center company CyrusOne as executive vice president and chief strategy officer.

In this newly created role, Raval will lead the company’s rapidly growing development program across the U.S. and drive strategic engagement with hyperscale customers.

The appointment comes as CyrusOne continues to grow its footprint and capital capacity. In the past year, the company has announced major financing deals, sustainability milestones, and global expansion plans — including securing a $687.1 million commercial mortgage-backed security issuance for its Carrollton data center, and a recent $9.7 billion debt raise tied to sustainability-linked development in an AI data center push. More recently in April 2025, CyrusOne also broke ground on a $200 million data center campus in Fort Worth, expanding its Texas portfolio to more than 14 sites.

In an announcement, CyrusOne CEO Eric Schwartz said Krupal brings “exceptional industry experience and proven leadership” to the company.

He added that with more than a dozen new data centers underway and a strong expansion pipeline, Krupal’s deep hyperscaler relationships and strategic vision will help accelerate CyrusOne’s growth and strengthen its market position.

Before joining CyrusOne, Krupal was managing director of xScale at Equinix, where he led its hyperscale data center business and helped develop multibillion-dollar joint ventures across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Earlier in his career, he was chief financial officer for Digital Realty’s Asia Pacific operations.

Raval touted CyrusOne’s experienced team as a reason he is excited to take on his new role. “CyrusOne has a well-established reputation in the industry for execution and innovation, and I am thrilled to join such an experienced and capable team,” he said.

He added that he looks forward to using his background to help advance the company’s vision and strategic goals.

CyrusOne operates more than 55 data centers across the United States, Europe, and Japan.
