‘Baby Couture’ Brand BabiSabi Launches Out of Dallas

Founded by Dallas-based Sofiya Deva, BabiSabi is rooted in the Japanese philosophy of "wabi-sabi," an embrace of imperfection and authenticity. The company says it blends style, sustainability, and social responsibility to deliver "a message of care and giving back."

A new Dallas-based baby apparel brand, BabiSabi, has launched a curated line of baby clothing it’s calling “baby couture.”

Founded by Dallas resident Sofiya Deva, BabiSabi says it blends style, sustainability, and social responsibility to offer more than just baby apparel—it delivers “a message of care and giving back.”

“As a godmother and aunt, I wanted to create a brand that reflects the values I hold dear—community, sustainability, and compassion,” Deva said in a statement. “Through BabiSabi, we aim to inspire parents to not only clothe their little ones in beautiful, meaningful apparel but also to feel connected to a larger purpose.”

The company said that it’s rooted in the Japanese philosophy of “wabi-sabi,” an embrace of imperfection and authenticity.

BabiSabi said it believes that every child’s uniqueness should be celebrated and that the brand’s designs reflect this ethos through modern, minimalist styles crafted with eco-friendly fabrics, ensuring a soft, safe, and stylish experience for babies and peace of mind for parents.

BabiSabi says it’s more than a clothing line—it’s “a movement.”

The company said it’s committed to giving back to underserved communities, pledging a portion of every sale to organizations that support families and children in need.

The BabiSabi pieces are made by women artisans in rural India who use 100% natural dyes and fibers. Each item takes a full day to make and can serve as  “a functional keepsake,” the company said.

BabiSabi’s debut collection features essentials for babies including caps, booties, and accessories, all available in neutral tones and designed “with versatility in mind.” The collection is available exclusively online at the company’s website.
