Michael Wood currently serves as Manager of Education & Workforce for the Dallas Regional Chamber. In this role, Michael leads the DRC’s early childhood education efforts, promotes collaboration between the regional business community and North Texas educational institutions, and serves as Executive Director of EducateDallas, an affiliated political action committee.
Prior to joining the DRC, Michael was an Advocacy Associate with the Commit Partnership, a Dallas-based collective impact organization, where he managed statewide coalitions to advance evidence-based early childhood education and school finance policy. Michael earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Texas Christian University, and his Master of Public Policy from the University of Texas at Dallas.
