THE TECH GIANT SUPPORTS THE SMART CITIES EFFORT
Dallas Innovation Alliance announced Wednesday that Dallas-based telecom giant AT&T Inc. has been added as a foundational partner.
AT&T (NYSE: T) has joined a network of DIA’s public and private partners including the City of Dallas, Dallas Regional Chamber, Cisco, and IBM.
AT&T’s support of DIA aligns with it’s national effort to build a smart cities framework that allows cities to better serve its citizens.
“Dallas is a clear choice for our involvement.” – Mike Zeto, general manager, Smart Cities, AT&T

DIA hopes to begin its initial projects in the West End Historic District, which will focus on connected living and smart infrastructure and mobility, in the next couple of months.
