Natasha Roach has been named assistant director of economic development at the City of Anna Economic Development Corp.
With nearly 12 years of municipal experience working in the economic development and chamber of commerce sectors, Roach will assist with overseeing all efforts at the Anna EDC and its support of business development within the fast-growing Collin County city.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Natasha to the Anna EDC as assistant director of economic development,” Bernie Parker, director of economic development at the Anna EDC, said in a statement. “As the City of Anna continues its rapid growth, our team is working to ensure that our development efforts match the pace of our expanding neighbor population while also supporting nearby growth, including Grayson County’s rising tech hub. I’m confident Natasha’s extensive experience and knowledge will be a great asset to our team as we work together to bring more opportunities to Anna.”
Mostly recently, Roach was the assistant director of economic development at the Little Elm Economic Development Corp., where she also held the title of EDC coordinator. In those roles, Roach worked closely with key stakeholders to assist with EDC activities and operations that supported business recruitment, retention, and expansion within Little Elm.
Before joining Little Elm EDC, Roach worked at Neiman Marcus Direct as both a studio operations manager and production manager. She began her career as a print business manager at former advertising agency Temerlin McClain.
Anna is among the fastest-growing cities in North Texas, with a population of nearly 30,000 and expected growth to 100,000 by 2050, the city said.
