Agentic AI Healthcare Co. IKS Health Names New Marketing and Legal Leaders

IKS Health, which offers AI-powered care enablement solutions to support healthcare clinicians, staff, and patients, today announced the appointment of Kathryn Weismantel as chief marketing officer and Christi Braun as chief legal and compliance officer.

Marketing healthcare tech

As CMO, Weismantel will lead strategic marketing initiatives designed to position IKS Health as a trusted innovator in healthcare technology. She’ll be responsible to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to elevate brand visibility, strengthen industry relationships, and support the company’s continued growth trajectory, IKS said.

Weismantel is a veteran marketing executive with more than 20 years of experience building brands and leading teams across healthcare and professional services. Most recently, she served as Americas Head of Marketing for Oliver Wyman, where she helped the firm enhance its position as a trusted advisor to the C-suite while navigating significant growth, and led marketing for Oliver Wyman’s Health & Life Sciences practice, including its Health Innovation Center.

Legal and compliance expertise

Braun joins IKS Health as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, overseeing corporate governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance, along with all legal functions. She has expertise across healthcare legal operations, including compliance, regulatory strategy, clinical operations, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, and physician–hospital alignment.

Braun previously served as Deputy General Counsel at ScionHealth, a leading U.S. health system, where she oversaw legal operations, transactions, litigation, claims liability, and contract management. She has also held senior legal roles at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the University of Florida and practiced at Mintz Levin and Ober Kaler. Braun began her career as a staff attorney at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission.
