Dallas-based o9 Solutions—a leading software company that powers enterprise planning and decisioning models across 30-plus industry verticals with its AI-powered Digital Brain platform—has announced that Gabe Cortes has joined its executive leadership team as chief financial officer.
o9 said that as it continues its rapid expansion into new markets and industries, Cortes is responsible for “driving profitable growth with efficiency and at scale.”
Chakri Gottemukkala, the o9’s founder and CEO, said his company is “entering a new high-growth stage with path-breaking AI and operating model innovations that build on o9’s founding promise: Connecting the siloes of enterprise planning and execution to transform end-to-end decision-making is the top value-creation driver in a world of rising volatility and uncertainty.”
“With more than 30 years of leadership excellence at both private and public companies,” the CEO added, “Gabe brings a unique combination of strategic financial and operational experience to the CFO role that will help us scale our global impact and realize our fullest potential.”
Prior to joining o9, Cortes served as the CFO at Lattice, a leading cloud-based performance management provider in the Human Resources space, o9 said. Before that, he was the CFO at Included Health, where he helped scale the company more than ten-fold and led multiple mergers and acquisitions. Cortes has also held multiple senior finance leadership roles at public companies in the B2B technology domain, including Workday, Juniper, and Cisco, o9 added.
“o9’s industry-leading technology and its proven track record of delivering strong economic value to its impressive roster of Fortune 1000 enterprise clients is truly inspiring,” Cortes said. “I look forward to making significant contributions as CFO to position o9 to drive predictable growth that will enable us to scale the pace of innovation for our clients.”
