Scott Bramble joins the newly launched pet services marketplace as president, tasked with leading its expansion beyond its initial presence in Dallas and Denver.
In the role, Bramble will focus on scaling Yourgi’s national footprint, developing its technology platform, growing both consumer and provider participation, and expanding availability in additional markets, the company said.
Yourgi is focused on connecting pet owners with local service providers across grooming, veterinary care, pet resorts, and other everyday pet services through a single marketplace platform.
Bramble brings more than two decades of leadership experience across online marketplaces, ecommerce, and consumer-focused businesses. He has previously held senior roles at Michaels Stores, Jane Technologies, and Nike.
Jennifer Strickland Fowler, CEO of Destination Pet Holdings LLC—Yourgi’s parent company—said Bramble’s background makes him well suited to lead the company through its next stage of growth.
“Scott brings the vision, operational discipline, and entrepreneurial ingenuity required to scale a high-growth marketplace,” Fowler said in a statement.
She said his experience building consumer platforms is expected to accelerate Yourgi’s national expansion and strengthen trust between pet owners and service providers.
Marketplace experience across consumer brands
Most recently, Bramble served as vice president and general manager of MakerPlace by Michaels, a subsidiary of Michaels Stores that sells handmade goods from independent artisans.
Before that, he was general manager of Marketplace & Consumer at Jane Technologies, where he helped launch a marketplace shopping experience and built Jane Gold, a patented rewards program.
Bramble said his decision to join Yourgi was shaped by both his professional background and personal experience as a pet owner.
“I’m thrilled to join Yourgi on its mission to create Earth’s most trusted pet care connector,” Bramble said. He said he has experienced firsthand the difficulty of finding reliable pet care and plans to focus on expanding access to the company’s marketplace while maintaining standards around trust, quality, and convenience.
Targeting rising demand in pet ownership and the gig economy
Rising pet ownership, combined with growing demand for flexible income opportunities, has created momentum in the pet services and gig economy sectors.
Yourgi said its platform is designed to connect pet owners with background-checked local caregivers while helping independent providers grow their businesses.
Under Bramble’s leadership, the company is entering 2026 following initial market launches in Dallas and Denver, with plans to expand availability as it scales operations.
Yourgi said it aims to be “the ultimate pet care platform, built by experts to simplify life for modern pet parents.” Its centralized marketplace for pet care services is designed to bring together grooming, veterinary care, and other local offerings in one platform, the company said.
