Dude Perfect, Caterpillar, and More: Dig World To Break Ground at Grapevine Mills

If you've walked by construction projects and wished you could get your hands on a mini excavator, skid steer, scissor lift, and more, your dream could come true in early 2026. That's when Dig World Grapevine will open with Caterpillar-branded attractions and an all-new Dude Perfect Zone.

Dig World—a construction-themed adventure park in Katy, Texas, that’s been featured on ABC’s “Shark Tank”—is breaking ground this coming Monday on its second location at Grapevine Mills mall in Grapevine. Slated to open in early 2026, the park will feature a full lineup of Caterpillar-branded attractions and an all-new Dude Perfect Zone featuring exclusive trick-shot challenges and interactive games.

If you’ve walked by construction projects and wished you could get your hands on a mini excavator, skid steer, scissor lift, and more, this could be your chance. The difference is, at Dig World all the attractions are professionally engineered with Dig World’s proprietary safety systems, the company said.

The groundbreaking of Dig World Grapevine will kick off a new, multi-year sponsorship with Irving-based Caterpillar, which joins as the park’s title sponsor. Together, the two brands say they’re “combining equipment, real-world engineering, and hands-on fun to inspire the builders of tomorrow.”

Slated to attend Monday’s groundbreaking are Dig World Co-Founder Alex Carroll, GM Joe Szymaszek from Grapevine Mills owner Simon Inc., Caterpillar CEO Joe Creed, Dude Perfect Member Cody Jones, and Grapevine Mayor William Tate.

“Caterpillar’s sponsorship is a dream come true,” Dig World Co-Founder Alex Carroll said in a statement. “When kids climb into a Cat machine, they’re not just pretending—they’re experiencing the real thing. Caterpillar helps us deliver an authentic and exciting construction adventure for children of all ages.”

Jenny Young, Caterpillar’s global brand director, said her company “is proud to support Dig World in inspiring the next generation of builders.”

“In addition to this partnership, we’re driving a $100 million commitment focused on equipping the workforce with the skills they need for the future,” Young added in a statement. “Dig World gives curious kids in North Texas an early head start toward these exciting careers.”

Since opening its first park in the Houston suburb of Katy in 2022, Dig World has welcomed over 200,000 visitors, hosted more than 2,000 birthday parties, and garnered over 150 million social media views—”all while maintaining a flawless safety record,” the company said.
