Dallas-based Jacobs (NYSE: J) and its strategic partner PA Consulting, a London-based technology consulting firm, will lead a new digital transformation project at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
The effort aims to help the world’s third busiest airport meet rising global travel demands through smarter infrastructure—and set a new standard for intelligent, intelligent, data-driven operations in North American aviation.
According to Jacobs, the initiative will leverage Al, machine learning, and advanced analytics to enhance operational agility and long-term innovation across DFW’s infrastructure.
“DFW is creating a blueprint for the intelligent airport of the future,” said Jacobs Executive Vice President Amer Battikhi in a statement. “Our integrated digital delivery approach supports large, complex environments like DFW to become more agile, responsive, and efficient, unlocking lasting value for passengers, operators, and the broader community.”
A key focus of the project is creating Al-based solutions with built-in cybersecurity to help meet the airport’s most pressing challenges. The engagement supports predictive decision-making and enables scalable, long-term innovation, according to Jacobs.
The work draws on PA Consulting’s global experience implementing intelligent systems that improve airport operations and support long-term sustainability. In the announcement, Carlos Ozores, U.S. aviation lead at PA Consulting, said the project reflects the firm’s focus on using technology to drive innovation and keep pace with the industry’s evolving demands.
Jacobs says its long-standing relationship with DFW positions it to lead this next phase of infrastructure innovation at home in North Texas.
The company is ranked the No. 1 airport design firm by Engineering News-Record in 2025, with global experience at major hubs including Heathrow, Denver, Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Noida International Airport in India.
