“Across many professional industries, women have made strides in breaking down barriers; however, supply chain and digital technology are two sectors that are often seen as being male-dominated.”

… … on launching Minerva, an initiative set to boost gender equality in the sectors.
Move over, status quo. North Texas-based ‘digital brain’ unicorn o9 Solutions is pushing boundaries in the supply chain and digital tech world with Minerva, a new professional community intended to be anything but business as usual.
Named after the Roman goddess of wisdom (because who doesn’t need a little mythological inspiration?), Minerva is o9’s answer to the gender gap in these traditionally male-dominated fields. It’s bringing together industry heavyweights like Rhondia Turano, former chief procurement officer at 3M, and Alison Jones, chief operations officer at Canyon Bicycles GMBH, as Minerva ambassadors.
“Through the o9 Minerva community, we aim to elevate the incredible knowledge, drive, and experiences of women working in the supply chain space,” o9 CRO Stephan de Barse said.
Minerva’s kickoff events will take place during aim10x On Tour Dallas (Sept. 25-26) and Amsterdam (Oct. 28-29). Both events will feature networking opportunities and panel discussions with Minerva Ambassadors sharing their career experiences. Last year, aim10x Dallas attracted over 200 clients and partners from around the world.
Membership is open to all who work in supply chain and digital technology sectors and hold leadership roles within their organizations, the company says.
