As part of a strategic shift towards becoming a specialized global boutique, Dallas-based Active Cyber announced that it is focusing on delivering comprehensive advisory and implementation services for leading cloud architectures, including Okta, Workday, and the latest addition, ServiceNow.
Mark Stanger, ServiceNow employee No. 46, and the original founder of ServiceNowGuru.com, CrossFuze, and Exel, will lead the ServiceNow practice at Active Cyber as vice president, the company announced.

Active Cyber is no doubt destined to be the next big thing in the ServiceNow services space under his leadership,” Jacob Andersen, founder, Exel Solution, said in a statement.
Active Cyber said the “transformative move” is aimed at creating a dynamic platform that caters to the unique needs of customers, employees, and software partners navigating these industry-leading platforms. In an arena where cloud offerings often overlap, Active Cyber said that customers seek tailored solutions and advice on efficiently adopting these platforms to align seamlessly with their existing or upcoming workflows.
ServiceNow is a pivotal element in this strategic shift, complementing Active Cyber’s specialization in other leading platforms — Workday for finance and HR, and Okta, SailPoint, and Microsoft for Cyber Identity/Governance, Active Cyber said.
The company said that Stanger’s legacy goes back to the beginning of ServiceNow, where he played a key role in its development. In addition to his consulting work, Stanger has made significant contributions to the ServiceNow ecosystem, the company said, including the complete rebuild of the “NowLearning” platform.
