Dallas College and the University of Arizona Global Campus are teaming up to offer concurrent enrollment to around 3,000 students with Dallas College Allied Health Programs.
The agreement will provide opportunities for Dallas College students who are working on associate degrees to concurrently enroll with UAGC to work on upper division classes—and conceivably graduate at both Dallas College and UAGC at the same time.
Dallas College Provost Dr. Shawnda Floyd. says the agreement “will open an additional pathway for Dallas College students to fast-track their higher education and obtain an associate degree here and bachelor’s degree from UAGC within virtually the same timeframe.”
“This partnership truly helps Dallas College fulfill its mission of transforming lives and communities through higher education,” Floyd added in a statement.
Dallas College programs available for the opportunity include everything from Adult Cardiac Sonography to Health IT to Invasive Cardiovascular Technology and more.
Students currently enrolled in Dallas College Allied Health Programs will have the opportunity to concurrently enroll in such UAGC programs Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Administration and Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management, through the UAGC College of Arts and Sciences.
Applications for the concurrent enrollment opportunity opened today.
