The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) and six of its members awarded $271,000 in grants to eight nonprofits in Dallas-Fort Worth in what it called a display of community partnership and regional collaboration.
The awards, announced at a ceremonial check presentation and media event at FHLB Dallas’ offices in Irving, are part of the bank’s 2025 Partnership Grant Program. In total, the annual program is distributing more than $1.2 million in funding this year across its five-state district.
FHLB Dallas President and CEO Sanjay Bhasin called the grants a way to “drive grassroots development and create lasting impact and opportunity for communities across the Dallas-Fort Worth region.”
“From affordable housing and entrepreneur education to workforce development that spurs economic mobility, the missions of these nonprofits are as varied as the communities they serve,” he said in a statement.
The Partnership Grant Program (PGP) offers a 5:1 match on contributions from participating member banks—up to $25,000 per nonprofit. That means a member institution can contribute between $500 and $5,000, and the bank will provide a matching grant up to the cap.
The program is designed to deepen relationships between local nonprofits and the member banks that serve their communities, FHLB Dallas said.

How to apply for the Partnership Grant Program
The next application window for the Partnership Grant Program opens in spring 2026. Nonprofits must apply through an FHLB Dallas member institution. Funds awarded through the program do not need to be repaid, according to a spokesperson.
For more on eligibility and member institutions, nonprofits can visit the FHLB Partnership Grant Program page and search for a participating bank using the member search tool.
