The Track Captain Applications for DSW20 are Now Live

Track captains are in charge of creating and organizing the sessions in each track (AR/VR, Blockchain, Fashion, Coding, Social Impact, and more). Applications are due Oct. 11.

Dallas Startup Week 2020 isn’t until next April, but it’s already time to start preparing.

The free, 5-day event known as Dallas Startup Week—DSW for short —impacts over 10,000 North Texas entrepreneurs and change-makers year after year. From high impact summits to big name keynotes to panels of trailblazers, Startup Week is big. (No, really—just check out all our content from #DSW19.)

But it all couldn’t be possible without the industry leaders and volunteers from the startup community who pitch in to help. #DSW20 is putting out a call-to-action for those interested in participating this year, with two opportunities now available online: track captain or on-site volunteer.

Track captains are tasked with creating and organizing the sessions in each track, which includes cybersecurity, marketing, legal, retail, esports, and more. Applications are due Oct. 11.

On-site volunteers help with site management before and during the main event. Applications for that position will open in January.

The DEC says signing up means “meeting diverse entrepreneurs, building your resume, and giving back to the local community within a nation-wide network”—so get to it.

Interested parties can also apply to speak or sponsor #DSW20. Check out the website for more info.
