Protective Eyewear Maker Wiley X Opens Its First Brick-and-Mortar Store in Frisco

Wiley X opened its HQ in Frisco in 2023 after relocating from California. Now it's opened the doors of its first-ever Wiley X Pro Shop at the same location, with some sunglass styles meeting U.S. military MIL-PRF-32432 (GL) standards for ballistic eye protection.

Veteran-founded Wiley X has been providing premium protective eyewear to the U.S. military since its founding as a family-owned company in 1987. It built its new HQ in Frisco from the ground up, relocating from its former home base in Livermore, California. The company's products have a devoted following among outdoorsmen and women who hunt, fish, and shoot—along with government and first responder networks.
