USPTO Releases Expansion of IP Identifier Tool, New Startup Certification Training Course

The USPTO wants to help startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs grow their businesses with knowledge of the patent process. In the U.S., industry and commerce that rely on IP protection accounts for $7.8 trillion in annual GDP and supports 63 million jobs.

The agency said that Huckaby, a licensed cosmetologist, also holds another patent for a different comb design and markets her business under the federally registered trademark Pomp and Powder.
