Hoque Global Breaks Ground on $1B University Hills Project in Southern Dallas

University Hills could ultimately feature a town center, hundreds of single-family homes, around 1,500 apartments, 1.5 million square feet of commercial space, a hotel, a mixed-use stadium, and 50-plus acres of open green space—all near the intersection of I-20 and Lancaster Road and adjacent to UNT at Dallas.

Designed by the firms Stantec and Harrison Kornberg Architects, UNT Dallas' new four-story STEM facility will feature 18 to 20 classrooms, nine biology and chemistry teaching labs, three research labs, and a large event venue. It's designed to provide a pathway for healthcare careers for UNT Dallas students.

Onu Ventures' residential and retail development at the intersection of I-20 and I-45 will include a grocery store and amenities centered around green space to create community.
The Onu Ventures project adds to other developments looking to build in the southern part of the city. Last month, Hoque Global announced its 270-acre University Hills development located next to the University of North Texas at Dallas campus.
