First reported by D CEO, Mike Hoque and Mike Ablon have the iconic 72-story tower and four surrounding city blocks under contract, planning a $350 million redevelopment that includes a luxury hotel, street-level enhancements, and a potential new financial district in downtown Dallas.
For 31 years, Chuy's has had an Instagram-ready location at Knox & McKinney in Dallas. That's 17 years longer than Instagram has existed—but the clock is now ticking. The Austin-based restaurant brand plans to move the location two miles east to 1520 Greenville Avenue in April 2025, according to the Dallas Morning News. Thankfully, the Elvis statue will go along for the ride. And hopefully so will the hubcap ceiling, the pet photo wall, and the countless art works and sculptures that make this spot special.
The Commercial Observer, a leading publication covering the commercial real estate industry, has expanded its coverage to Dallas, marking its fifth national market. The company also has a presence in New York City, South Florida, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

Brent Ball will lead efforts to maximize the value of TDI's existing portfolio, expand focus on attainable housing geared for educators, first responders, and other essential workers, and provide third-party capital through preferred equity and tax-exempt bond investments.
"PowerCampus Dallas will raise the bar in the North Texas data center market and beyond," Skybox CEO Rob Morris said of the project in Lancaster. It's slated to provide up to 300 megawatts of power supported by a private onsite substation while offering up to one million square feet of data center space.
