In an all-stock merger transaction, Spirit Realty Capital is being acquired by San Diego-based Realty Income Corporation. Spirit Realty is a leading real estate investment trust with tenants including Life Time Fitness, Invited, At Home, Dave and Buster’s/Main Event, Church's Chicken, Dollar Tree, and other national brands.

Nearly 8% of The Home Depot's total electricity usage is going to be based on renewable energy from a project right here in North Texas. The Atlanta-based home improvement giant announced that it has purchased 100 MW of solar energy from National Grid Renewables' Noble solar and storage project in Denton County. The solar farm is NGR's largest solar energy project to date, and its first utility-scale energy storage project, The Home Depot says.
