UNT Health Idea and $2M Grant Fuel AI Forensics Tool to Help Solve Missing Persons Cases

A five-university team is developing new forensic software to analyze age, ancestry, sex, and stature data together—improving how unidentified human remains are identified. Called MOSIAC, the tool will be free to law enforcement and forensic anthropologists once complete.
