The global real estate development firm founded by Jack Matthews has bought another former Sears site—this time, a 2 million-square-foot complex on a 38-acre tract near downtown. The project could open the door to a new chapter in the Cedars, shaped by input from residents, investors, and city leaders.
With assets exceeding $6 billion and a history dating back to 1875, American National Bank of Texas will open its new Southern Dallas County location this fall. The office will house ANBTX’s Emerging Markets team and serve as a hub for community engagement and educational programs.
Areas around downtown Dallas have grown and evolved into distinct neighborhoods with vibrant communities, unique amenities, and eccentric personalities.
During the day, the space is Marie’s Mantle; in the evening, it provides food for next-door Absinthe Lounge; overnight, it’s the kitchen for Wheat and Sour.
